Is It Sepsis? is a question that should be at the front of everyone's mind when they (or a loved one) are sick with an infection.
Sepsis happens when the body is fighting an infection but it starts to attack itself. It can damage many parts of the body and can even cause death.
The best chance of getting better from sepsis is to treat it quickly. Please watch and share this animation to educate yourself on the #signsofsepsis and if you suspect sepsis, call 000 or get to a hospital and ask #isitsepsis

We welcome your donation.....
Sepsis kills more Australians than breast or prostate cancer. Over 55 000 Australians will develop sepsis each year, with over 8000 losing their lives to the condition. Our health system is severely impacted by sepsis each year, costing Australia $1.5 billion annually. And for those who lose a loved one because of it, the cost is immeasurable.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are disproportionately affected, they suffer sepsis at four times the rate of non-indigenous Australians.
In 2022/23, T for Thomas plan to hit the road and deliver their campaign to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Your generous support will help T for Thomas create specific resources to educate the community about sepsis and also to fund travel to remote and regional communities.
Sepsis awareness saves lives. Please donate today to help stop other precious lives from being lost to sepsis.
All donations $2 and above are tax deductible.
